Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities and ensure the efficient sourcing of goods and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that purchases meet the organisation’s quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and processes.
Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendor relationships.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
Monitor procurement costs and identify opportunities for savings.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Work closely with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements.
Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery timelines.
Manage procurement documentation, records, and reporting.
Lead and support the procurement team to achieve operational objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a senior or managerial role.
Strong negotiation, supplier management, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Good knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor evaluation.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Professional procurement or supply chain certification will be an added advantage.
